1. Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your character'sfavourite colour, or what the relationship with their mother was like, their lap dancer name, whatever.

2. I respond by asking you five questions so I can get to know your character better.

3. You update your characters IJ with the answers to the questions, and comment to this post with a link to your answers.

4. You will include this explanation and offer to ask someone else's character, or even players, in the post.

5. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions about either themselves or their characters.

1) Melisande seems like quite the wild child. What's the most outrageous thing she has ever done against her father's wishes?
When Melisande was 15 or so she met and fell in love with a boy a few years older. The boy was very poor, and not of high moral standing. In fact, he was rumored to have been a prostitute though Melisande never considered this rumor to be true. The two had a long affair where they often met in back allies late at night. When she was 17 her father discovered this and had her windows nailed shut, and refused to let her leave the house without a maid.It was only when the family left for england that her father decided to give her a bit more freedom.

2) Melisande and her family obviously escaped the revolution with some wealth. Is Melisande worried about their new life in England or perfectly at ease in this new society?
Melisande isn't fond of England at all. She has few friends there and is constantly worried what others will think of her. In France it was pretty well known what kind of person she was but because of her high social standing no one really confronted her about it and the rumors were always hidden from her. In england, she's not as highly thought of.

3) How far is Melisande prepared to go for love? Would she abandon her family? Would she kill for it?
Melisande isn't sure she wants love. She sees so many couples claiming they're in love while the woman is forced to follow her husbands rules. She's already gone through that with her father so she isn't too likely to deal with a husband like that. However, if she did fall in love, she'd do what she had to to keep it. Of course, she'd do her best to reason with her family, but in the end love would be put before them. As for killing. She wouldn't plan a murder out, but should she be married to another man who mistreated her, she might kill him in the heat of the moment weather it was for love or not.

4) Assuming she finds out, how would Melisande feel about Harry's side business?
Melisande might not think it made Harry a very good person, but at the same time, it would excite her rebellious side. It would almost make him more appealing. Less likely to be someone she'd truly love, but more likely someone she'd befriend or have an affair with just to spite her father.

5) What is Melisande's opinion of divorce? Is it something she would consider if trapped in a loveless marriage or would she apply herself and try to make it work?
Melisande is a firm believer in preventing a loveless marriage before it happens, but if any man she didn't love should ever over look her horrible remarks and marry her, she would do her best to make the marriage work as long as the man didn't mistreat her.
